Senior Tradeswoman / Mentor

The Senior Tradeswoman / Mentor provides technical and day-to-day operational leadership for Lancashire Women’s Tradeswomen and energy home-visit delivery. The postholder combines hands-on practical work with mentoring, safe work allocation, quality assurance and workforce development.

The role reports directly to the Senior Programme Manager – Advice Team and directly line manages the Energy Advice / Tradeswoman Apprentice. It provides practical and technical guidance to Tradeswomen / Energy Advisors, while formal line management, supervision, appraisal, attendance and performance processes for other frontline advice staff remain with the Advice Team Lead.

The postholder will help ensure home visits, practical interventions and agreed chargeable work are safe, trauma-informed, consistently delivered and completed within organisational, insurance and competence boundaries, building on the previously developed chargeable SHECANFIX endeavour.
